Referral Draw – Terms and Conditions 

1. Overview


This referral draw is organised and promoted by Christiaan Groenewald, an authorised financial adviser for Old Mutual.
This competition is an independent initiative by Christiaan Groenewald and is not organised, sponsored, or endorsed by Old Mutual Limited or Didimata Financial Advisors.
By entering, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Purpose of the Draw
The campaign rewards clients who refer friends, family, or colleagues to take out qualifying Old Mutual products through Christiaan Groenewald. The goal is to encourage responsible financial planning while offering participants a chance to win a prize.

3. Eligibility for Entry

  • Each referral qualifies for entry once the referred policy has remained active for four (4) months or after four successful premium payments.

  • Policies that lapse, are cancelled, or unpaid before this period do not qualify.

  • Entrants must be 18 years or older and live in South Africa.

  • There is no limit to the number of valid referrals per participant.

4. Entry Process

  • Referrals can be made by sharing the referred person’s details directly with Christiaan Groenewald via authorised communication (WhatsApp, email, or in person).

  • Each verified, active policy counts as one entry into the draw.

5. POPIA Compliance

  • The referrer must obtain the referred person’s consent before sharing their details.

  • Personal information will be used only for this referral draw and handled in full accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

6. Verification and Record-Keeping
Records will include:

  • Referrer name

  • Referred client name

  • Referral and policy dates

  • Policy type and status

  • Confirmation of 4 successful premiums

  • Eligibility status

Only verified entries will be entered into the draw.

7. Draw Details

  • The final draw will be held in June 2026.

  • Only verified, active policies qualify at that time.

  • The winner will be contacted directly and announced publicly only with written consent.

8. Prize

  • One verified entrant will win a gas braai.

  • The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.

  • If the selected winner cannot be reached within 14 days, an alternate winner will be chosen.

9. Disqualification
Entries will be disqualified if:

  • The policy lapses or is cancelled before four premiums.

  • False information is supplied.

  • Consent from the referred person is not confirmed.

10. General Conditions

  • This competition is run independently by Christiaan Groenewald and is not affiliated with Old Mutual Limited or Didimata Financial Advisors.

  • Old Mutual underwrites the qualifying financial products, but is not a sponsor of this campaign.

  • Christiaan Groenewald reserves the right to amend or cancel the draw at any time.

  • All decisions made regarding this draw are final.
